XiangXiang and HuaHua @ Jinzhou

XiangXiang (香香, 'good smell'), was born in October 2013 and came to my family during the winter break of my second year of undergrad. She is a very smart (and grumpy) Poddle, with a mix of black and grey hair. She has dark black eyes so it's not easy to capture her eyes clearly in the photos, especially when most of the time they are covered by her hairs, if we don't cut her hairs timely.

My mom adopted DaHua (大花, 'big flowers') just couple days after she was born, in 2020. She is a very dumb Corgi with really short legs which stopped growing any longer while her body was growing in a rocket speed. This body-leg inbalance looks very funny when she sits, or runs.

Since then a fierce competition arises: XiangXiang, who used to be the only pet, has been living with the family for almost 8 years. However, DaHua quickly becomes very liked in the family. People like tempting her to sprint and jump to the couch, and she would fail every time with little claws hanging on the couch and short legs swing back and forth (she can do it easily now though). She also has very good temper, likely because she's not very intelligent :0 XiangXiang is not very happy on the fact that she's no longer the only pet and she keep fighting with her.

And here are some photos of them! I'm posting some of their moments in life since dogs can only accompany us for 10 years or so, and I haven't spent much time physically with them since 2018 :(
